Krakow: Short Vistula River Walk and Guided Tour in the Former Jewish Ghetto

1 hour and 30 minutes

Easy

Take a short cruise on the Vistula River aboard a modern boat to admire the panorama of Krakow and reach the Podgórze district. There, walk the streets of the former Jewish ghetto with a guide to learn about the history of this place and its inhabitants.

See the royal city from the river from the deck of a modern catamaran, embarking on a short panoramic cruise on the Vistula River. As you pass Wawel, churches and other monuments, hear information about them from the boat's modern sound system and enjoy beautiful views from the open platform in fine weather. A heated deck and comfortable leather sofas will make you feel at home even on cold days.

After reaching your destination, meet your guide and walk along the streets of the former Jewish ghetto, which existed in Podgórze during the war and which still bear traces of those terrible events. See a fragment of the undamaged wall around the ghetto, houses where thousands of displaced Jews lived, the historic pharmacy "Pod OrÅ‚em" and the monument with many chairs at the Ghetto Heroes Square.
