Feel the religious atmosphere of Jasna Gora – the biggest pilgrimage center in Poland.
City of Czestochowa is famous of its basilica and monastery located on Jasna Gora. Since hundreds of years it is the most important pilgrimage center where the holy relic of the Black Madonna has been kept. The legend says that the painting was painted by St. Luke who used a cedar table from the house of the Holy Family. Each year many thousands of people join pilgrimages which arrive at Czestochowa and finish on Jasna Gora.
Czestochowa is located 140 kilometers north of Krakow and it takes around 2 hours to get there. You can see the city on your own or with the local guide. On your request we can arrange a tour guide – the service is available in 4 languages (Polish, English, Italian, Spanish) and costs 150 zlotych. Our agenda includes lunch break. The tour usually lasts 6 -7 in total.
